The PCT and COVID-19

A dream on hold.

In a time of so much uncertainty about what we should do and what to expect in the wake of COVID-19, I made the tough decision to put my hike on hold for the foreseeable future.

If we sort this whole thing out in time to continue hiking, that’s where I’ll be. However, we still don’t know what to expect going forward, so I, like so many others, are unsure of what’s next.

Whether it’s the PCT this year, next year or any other, you can bet that regardless, there will be a lot more hiking and backpacking in my future.

I’m taking time now to be with my family, and to figure out a new version of this dream and work with what I’ve got!
